With the March 2012 issue, Hindu Voice, will be completing TEN years of services to the Hindu Society. With the present issue (of Dec. 2011), 117 issues have come out without any break or delay. There is no ‘combined’ issue also.

To commemorate our Ten years of uninterrupted services to its subscribers, we will be organising a Readers-cum-Public Meet, in April 2012, to be addressed by a well known Hindu leader.

To commemorate the non-stop services of Hindu Voice to the Hindu society for TEN years, we are planning a public function in April 2012.

On this occasion we are coming out with a “Hindu Voice Digest”, which will contain important editorials and articles (written by me) published in Hindu Voice, during these TEN years. The Editorials and Articles are comments and critiques of events, as and when they were taking place, from a Hindu perspective. The Digest is expected to be of about 400 pages, in 1/8th size.

At each page, there will be a bottom line ‘this page is sponsored by Shri ..........’. There will be a charge of Rs.500/- for each page sponsored. The sponsor will also get a copy of the Digest free.

Dear Honorable Madam/Sirs,

We are concerned at the letter dated 5th October 2011 (copied below) addressed to you (all three) by Coalition Against Genocide, supported by 35 so called Human Rights organisation working abroad. The letter is nothing but intellectual terrorism and also a direct interference in our judicial process and democratic functioning.

CAG is just distorting the facts. On 11th May 2005, the Hon. Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Sriprakash Jaiswal informed the Rajya Sabha that 254 Hindus and 790 Muslims were killed in Gujarat in the post-Godhra riots of 2002. Thus it is apparent that it was Riots in which both Muslims and Hindus were involved. How can they call this a Genocide? CAG is building castles on false foundation.

CAG is threatening to launch an international campaign on behalf of Mr. Sanjiv Bhatt. This amounts to interfering in the internal affairs of our country. By this way, they are trying to intellectually terrorise the Government of India and the judiciary to submit to their whims and fancy. Their intention seems to be to boost the morale of anti-national and terrorist forces and to destabilise the country by spreading communal hatred.

In the name of Human Rights, some fringe elements are bent upon supporting terrorists and also those who work against the unity and integrity of our country. In fact, they had succeeded in getting bail for Dr. Binayak Sen, who was sentenced to Life Imprisonment, for sedition and for supporting Maoists, by the Raipur Secession Court and whose bail plea was rejected by the Chattisgarh High Court. By taking recourse to intellectual terrorism, they had also succeeded in declaring "Salwa Judum" unconstitutional by the Supreme Court, which in fact has helped the Maoists. Under such conditions, it is difficult for the state governments to counter Maoist-Naxalite terrorism.

The electronic media also seems to have joined hands with these so called Human Rights Activists, in sensationalizing and blowing up the arrest of Mr. Sanjiv Bhattt and influencing the decision of the administration and the judiciary, as they did in the case of Dr. Sen.

The arrest of Mr. Bhatt is an internal matter of our country, and overseas organisations have no business to put mental pressure on or interfere in the functioning of our democratically elected governments.

We, Hindu Journalists & Intellectuals Forum, a body of journalists, writers, authors and intellectuals, earnestly appeal to your Honours, not to succumb to such intellectual terrorism from within the country or from abroad and ‘media trials’. Let the law take its course and let truth prevail.

Coalition Against Genocide letter demands action over the arrest of whistle-blower cop Sanjiv Bhatt

The Coalition Against Genocide (CAG) seeks your urgent intervention in the case of the arrest of Mr. Sanjiv Bhatt, a distinguished IPS Officer from Gujarat, whose main crime has been to speak truth about the 2002 violence in Gujarat. As incumbents of the three highest offices of the Indian State, we cannot but turn to you at this moment of crisis. The Coalition Against Genocide is an advocacy coalition that was created in the wake of the Gujarat carnage of 2002 with the single purpose of working to bring the perpetrators of the genocide and other communal crimes to justice. We stand steadfast behind Mr. Bhatt and are committed to launching an international campaign on his behalf in the absence of corrective action by the Central Government to ensure his safety, and to bring an end to this vengeful retaliation against him. Without reiterating the well known facts to the case, we do want to bring to your notice:

The increasing misuse of the law to harass those on the side of truth has reached crisis proportions in India. Over the last decade the number of whistleblowers who have been put under extreme duress through the misuse of the law against them is a matter of much concern. Mr. Bhatt's arrest is simply the most recent case, and given the truth at stake, the most egregious one. Such treatment of whistleblowers (several of whom have been killed) positions India as a gross violator of human rights from an international human rights standpoint.

In the case of Mr. Bhatt we also wish to state that he had already moved the Supreme Court on the same FIR and therefore Modi government's intervention amounts to an interference with judicial process and makes all the more visible its desperation and vindictive attitude.

We respectfully urge you to act without delay. CAG has also decided to move forward, beginning Monday, Oct 10th, with an international human rights campaign unless the matter is seized on by the highest offices of the state. While we are bound by our ethics to stand on the side of truth and justice we sincerely hope that we will not need to launch such a campaign.

What is the Religion of Bharat?

Every country has a religion. USA (whom we try to ape), UK, Australia, Canada, etc. (although Democratic and Secular), proudly say that they are Christian countries. Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, etc. proudly say that they are Islamic countries, although there is no democracy and ‘secularism’. Even Sri Lanka proudly says it is a Buddhist country.

What is the Religion of Bharat? - Islam or Christianity? No. Can it be anything other than Hindu (Sanatan Hindu Dharm)?

If the culture of America is Christian and that of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan is Islam, the culture of India is Hindu. Any one trying to hide this Hindu identity is dishonest. Even hard core anti-Hindus like Brinda Karat, Medha Patkar, Teesta Setalvad, Mallika Sarabai, Arundathi Roy, Barkha Dutt, Ambika Soni, and many others, are testifying to this, showing up in saree with a big Bindi on their foreheads. They can hate Hindu religion but not Hindu culture.

If India is the body, Hindutva is its soul. The UPA is killing this soul. Just think - what happens when the soul leaves the body. Do you want this to happen to our beloved Motherland?

Do we Hindus have one country to call it ours, although we are 100 crores? When India was partitioned in 1947, with the birth of a Muslim Pakistan, India should have been declared a Hindu Nation. But we opted for ‘secularism’. And today Hindus are Second Class citizens - Muslims and Christians getting special privileges. Our Prime Minister has declared that minorities should have first claim on our resources - an unconstitutional statement.

The present UPA Govt., under Sonia, is working towards dividing and converting Hindus, empowering Muslims and Christians in the name of secularism and supporting terrorists and Maoists.

Time is not far off when North Indians visiting Tirupathi Balaji, Rameshwaram, Kanyakumari Vivekananda Rock memorial, etc. may have to carry a Passport and Visa. Similarly, South Indians visiting Kashi, Ganga, Khumb Mela, Amarnath, Vaishno Devi, etc. may need a Passport and visa. One shudders to think of this, but the UPA Govt. is working towards this end.

Although we were enslaved for nearly 1000 years, we re-emerged as one nation. This was possible due to our spiritual and cultural unity, which we call Hindutva.

This spiritual and cultural unity of India is being tampered with by the present UPA Govt. Here, in brief, are some proofs.

The National Advisory Council, headed by Sonia Gandhi, is an unconstitutional body. It has no national element in it. NAC consists of blind folded fundamentalist and Maoist supporters whose only aim is to destroy Hindu culture. NAC acts as a super-cabinet.

The NAC has drafted a Communal Violence Bill. The Bill says that only Hindus are creating communal violence and Muslims and Christians are the victims. That is - Muslims and Christians are peace-loving and Hindus are trouble makers. This, after repealing POTA to help terrorists, mostly Muslims. If this Bill becomes a Law, Hindus will be at the mercy of Muslims and Christians, which is as good as slavery.

Dr. Binayak Sen was sentenced to Life Imprisonment by Raipur Secessions’ Court for treason and for helping Maoists. The Chattisgarh high court rejected his bail plea. The Supreme Court granted him bail. Immediately, the UPA Govt. has nominated him to the Planning Commission’s steering committee on health.

Mr. Harsh Mandar, a member of NAC, has openly come in support of a Maoist-Naxalite, Abdul Shakeel Basha, arrested by the Gujarat police. Basha’s wife was allotted a Govt. house!

Salwa Judum, a movement of Tribal youths to counter the Naxalite-Maoist terrorism has been declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court, due to a counter-offensive demonising it in the press, on TV and in courts and with European Union jholawallahs.

Christian delegations from USA and Europe are allowed to survey riot-affected areas. They even supervise court proceedings! Today, lakhs of Christian missionaries are working in India, to convert Hindus and make India in to a Christian country and to enslave Hindus.

In memory of a Kerala nun - Alphonsa - 10 rupee coin embossed with her picture is released. Did the govt. do so for any Hindu saint?

Missionaries of Charity Chief Sister Nirmala was awarded the nation's second highest civilian award Padma Vibhushan. Gladys Steins, the wife of murdered Australian missionary, Graham Steins, too got Padma Shri a few years back. They are being rewarded for converting Hindus.

After the demise of Satya Sai Baba, the AP Govt. is trying to take over his Trust. After the demise of Mother Teressa, did the govt. question any of the activities of Missionaries of Charity or check its cash & bank balance?

Navin Chavla was appointed as the Chief Election Commissioner only because he was a converted Christian. His wife is a Christian missionary.

Tainted PJ Thomas was appointed the Chief Vigilance Commissioner, inspite of objection by the Opposition Leader, only because he was a Christian. (The Supreme Court cancelled his appointment)

There are about 2.5 crore Christians in India, i.e. about 3%, a negligible amount. Yet there were (in Aug. 2006) five Christian chief ministers - Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Kerala and AP.

Many politicians/activists of Sonia’s closed circle are Christians - Oscar Fernandes, Margaret Alwa, Ambika Soni, AK Anthony, Valson Thampu, John Dayal, Kancha Illaya (the latter three are Hindu-haters). There are many other crypt-Christians too. Ahmed Patel, a Muslim, is her PA.

At the request of the All India Christian Council (AICC), Sonia Congress gave ticket to two Christians for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Does any Sadhu or Sant write to Congress or BJP?

The Presidential staff is headed by Ms. Christie Fernandes, a Christian and a Sonia favourite. All finer details including the colour of the Saree to be worn by the President on specific occasions are decided by her. Yes, Sonia’s diktat even goes deep into Rashtrapathi Bhavan, and that too through Christians. Just look at the hold of Rome on India!

On 2nd August 2011, Sonia Gandhi, suddenly and secretly left for USA for medical treatment. It seems she does not trust Indian hospitals and doctors. She formed a 4-member core group to look after the affairs of the party during her absence. Look at the members - A.K. Antony, Ahmed Patel, Rahul Gandhi and Janardhan Dwidevi. Christians and Muslims are preferred for all important positions.

200 (two hundred) years ago Hindus in Kandahar (Afghanistan) were performing Pooja, singing Bhajans and Kirtans. Today there is no one, all replaced by Al Qaeda and Talibans.100 (hundred) years ago, Hindus were there in Karachi and Lahore. Today there is none. All have vanished into thin air. 50 (fifty) years ago, Hindus were there in Srinagar (Kashmir). Today no one is left there. All have been driven out.

Considering the above historic facts, 50 (fifty) years from now, will you (or your son/daughter or grand son/grand daughter) be able to perform Pooja, singing Bhajans and Kirtans? Logic says ‘NO’. Muslim population explosion also confirms this. Also, look at the following symptoms.

In Jalpaiguri, a border district in West Bengal near Bangladesh, Hindus are threatened by Muslims not to cook food during day-time in the month of Ramzan. In 2007, Hindus celebrating Holi in Howrah were attacked by Muslims. In a few villages in Thenkasi Taluka (Tamil Nadu), Muslims have by sheer numbers democratically taken over the Panchayat; Now they have started taking out Notices in Urdu. In the same Taluka, Christians object to Hindus performing Pongal (Makar Sankaranti) on the street.

In many places in the North East, Indians are not welcome; Slogans like ‘Indian Dogs, get out’ painted on walls are common. A Christian MP of Congress calling Baba Ramdev ‘Bloody Indian Dog’ goes scot free. In Miraj, a Ganesh Mandap was attacked by Muslims in 2010. Similarly, in Borsad (Gujarat) Ganapathy processions were attacked by Muslims. Kashmiri Muslims oppose temporary transit camps being provided to Amarnath Yatris (compare this with Haj subsidies).

While Hindus in Pakistan are persecuted and seeking asylum in India, our PM is making efforts to return the properties of Muslims who have left for Pakistan, to their heirs via The Enemy Property Bill.

Efforts are made to belittle Hindus and Hindu Sants. Attack on Kanchi Shankaracharya, Asaram Bapu, Baba Ramdev, Bangaru Adigalar, Narendra Maharaj, Swami Nityananda, Satya Sai Trust, Sanatan Sanstha, Hindu Janjagruti Samiti, Rashtriya Swamaysevak Sangh, VHP, etc. are a few examples. A TV channel reporting on the terrorist activities of a Madrassa is told to apologise; whereas TV channels tarnishing the image of Hindu Sadhus and Sants go scot free. The UPA Govt. talks of ‘saffron terror’; did it ever say ‘green terror’ or ‘red terror’?

As demanded by Christian Missionaries, the Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam was transferred, as he was blocking conversion of Hindus.

The UPA Govt. is trying to declare Devbhasha, Sanskrit, as a dead language, whereas it is giving incentive for learning Arabic and Urdu.

Muslims and Christians will vote only for the Congress, simply because it empowers them to dominate over Hindus. They are not bothered about Bomb Blast, price rise, terrorism, corruption, national security, economic development, farmers’ suicide, democracy, religious freedom, etc. But what about you, Hindus? Is this the legacy you want to leave behind for your sons and daughters - to become slaves again? If not, get up from your deep slumber. Be a part of the Hindu Vote Bank.

With just 29% vote and 206 MPs (out of 543), Sonia Gandhi is ruling India as her personal fiefdom. If 50% Hindus vote for one party (that Hindu party will spring up in time, like the Janata Party in 1977), it can get 2/3rd majority. We can then even amend the Constitution, to make Bharat a Hindu Nation - a Vishwa Guru as it once was - where there will be true democracy and secularism. Are you Ready?

I have come out with a new Book, titled "420 Facts, Exposing 420s".

You may be aware of my earlier book “650 Truths You Must Know Before It Is Too Late” (For details, please refer to the “Preface” given on page 4). It was last re-published in January 2010, with facts till June. 2008.

Lakhs of copies of the book have been printed and sold. The Book had been bought by RSS and VHP offices in various parts of India, and by many individuals in thousands. Satyagrah Yes, Fast No.

Swami Ramdevji has announced that he will be starting a Satyagrah with a fast unto death from 4th June 2011 in New Delhi.

Although the whole world knows of his Satyagrah a month ago through the Aastha TV, the media is covering the news only now, when the news could no more be suppressed. That is how our news-hungry media behaves!

But I have a request to make to Swami Ramdevji. He should go for the Satyagrah and Dharna, and NOT for fasting unto death. Through the Satyagrah he should show his power which will itself frighten the corrupt politicians ruling our country. He can even challenge them politically - announcing the formation of a political party. He should field candidates in all the parliamentary constituencies and capture power at the centre. He can then implement his agenda. All this is OK.

But fasting unto death is risky. First, the fast will deteriorate his health. Second, the Congress never considered Anna Hazare as its enemy because he did not challenge it politically. Since Swami Ramdevji is challenging the Congress politically, the Congress considers him as an enemy. It will take this opportunity to ‘eliminate’ him. One or two days after the fast starts, the UPA government may arrest him and take him to a hospital and give him some injection on the pretext of saving his life, but in fact with long term effect to finish him off slowly in a few years. God forbid, but this may happen as the Congress will do anything to finish off its enemy.

Every nationalist Indian wants Swami Ramdevji to live for a few hundred years. He should make the nation and its people healthy through Yog and Politics, and guide Maa Bharathi to become the Vishwa Guru. What he is doing has the mass support of Indians, and he should go ahead with his programme of Nayi Azadi and Nayi Vyavastha.

In short, Swami Ramdevji should go ahead with his Satyagrah and Dharna, but CANCEL ‘fasting unto death’.

As it is, we have lost Rajiv Dixitji. We CANNOT lose Swami Ramdevji.

A Belgium citizen, advising an Italian Christian Sonia, on how to run a Hindu Nation of 121 crores!

When the Britishers could not withstand the heat of our Freedom Fighters and were afraid of their lynching at the hands of our Revolutionaries, they looked for a safety valve. They created the Indian National Congress in 1885, which acted as a buffer between the Colonialists and the Indian Revolutionaries.

Today, when the Congress is not able to withstand the heat generated by the Yog Guru Baba Ram Dev by his Bharat Swabhimaan Andolan, it was looking for a safety valve. In Anna Hazareji, it has found out one.

Anna Hazareji is a Gandhian and is fighting against corruption. No one can suspect his honesty, sincerity and commitment. However, people outside Maharashtra do not know him. Baba Ramdev, who is carrying on a campaign against Black Moneys stashed away in foreign countries, included him in his Movement for Nayi Azadi and Nayi Vyavastha and introduced him to the entire world through the Aastha TV. Baba’s anticorruption rally in Delhi on 27th Feb. 2011, included Anna Hazareji, but the entire media boycotted the event although more than a lakh people attended it.

The secular gang and the Congress which were uncomfortable with Baba’s movement (which he has taken to far flung areas like Madurai and Koilpatti in TN, Dimapur in Nagaland and Kannur in Kerala), were waiting for an opportune moment to sabotage his movement. When Anna sat on a fast on 5th April 2011, the entire secular gang, with the connivance of the Congress, jumped into the bandwagon and hijacked the entire show.

It is noteworthy that Anna never mentioned anything about the Bharat Swabhimaan Andolan of Baba Ramdev during his 5-day fast, although Swami Ramdev did attend Anna’s Fast. Possibly, the secular gang surrounding him saw to it that he neglects BSA. Also, the saffron flag of the Bharat Mata picture at the background was changed to tricolour. With a grand media hype, Anna too got his ego satisfied and got carried away. He even batted for the NAC and sought the help of Sonia, the queen of corruption, in fighting corruption!

Can just one Law make miracles and curb corruption? Under the existing laws, is not corruption almost zero in Gujarat? Has Gujarat not developed? Anna himself has certified this. (For that, he was derided by the gang of civil society activists). So what we need today is not additional laws. We need honest and dynamic leaders (like Narendra Modi). Baba Ramdev is exactly trying to do this. What is the contribution of Anna on this count?

The entire exercise of forming a Joint Drafting Committee amounts to subversion of democracy. Here, I am not talking about the merits or demerits of the Lokpal Bill. In a democracy, it is the elected representatives of people - both from the ruling party and the opposition - who form Joint Committees. But in this case, the so called members from the civil society have replaced the opposition. Whom do they represent? Whom are they answerable to? Have they not made the opposition irrelevant? Where are we heading? Is the communist ideology of throwing democracy with “people’s power” at action?

First, it was the extra-constitutional National Advisory Council headed by Sonia Gandhi, with members from dubious NGOs which was imposed upon the cabinet. Now, this Joint Drafting Committee relegating the opposition, which is again an extra-constitutional body. Democracy, in spite of its shortcomings, is the best form of governance. But what we are seeing today in India is oligarchy. This is a dangerous trend.

If one looks at the composition of NAC, one would be shocked to find many names, who are running known anti-national and anti-Hindu NGOs. One of the members of NAC is Mr. Jean Drèze. He was born in Belgium in 1959, and became an Indian citizen in 2002. He is going to advise Sonia Gandhi - on what only God knows. A Belgium citizen, advising an Italian Christian Sonia, on how to run a country of 121 crore people, more than 85% of whom are Hindus! Doesn’t it look weird? Do they have anything to do with India and its spiritualism, culture and tradition?

Under the NAC, there are various Working Groups. The WG on Communal & Sectarian Violence has again set up an Advisory Group and a Drafting Committee to develop a draft bill on communal and sectarian violence.

Exactly on these lines, a Joint Drafting Committee has been formed for the Lokpal Bill now. By sidelining the duly elected opposition, these so called civil society activists, as also the NAC headed by Sonia Gandhi, have usurped political power unconstitutionally. In other words, they are digging the grave for democracy.

The Congress is not at all afraid of Anna Hazare as he is not a political threat. But Baba Ramdev is. He is forming a political party and is going to challenge the Congress at the next parliamentary election. The Congress (like the Britishers in 1880s) was on the look out for a buffer and Anna Hazare (like MK Gandhi) has fit the bill. So he was promoted with the help of an obliging media and multinational companies waiting to take revenge of Baba Ramdev.

If Anna Hazare continues on this trail, he will be doing a national disservice. Instead, he should join the Bharat Swabhimaan Andolan of Baba Ramdev, and strengthen his hands. Otherwise, there will be two parallel anticorruption movements, dividing the people (voters), benefiting the Congress. This is what the Congress wants, and this is what Anna should desist from doing, if he is really interested in eliminating corruption and corrupt politicians.

By the way, Swami Ramdev has planned an anti-corruption Satyagrah in Delhi from the 4th of June 2011, with more than a lakh members of BSA. One hopes that as a true patriot Anna Hazare too will support this Satyagrah. Let us all wait and see how the mafia media covers this event.

Swami Ram Vs Anna Hazare?

This is further to my msg dated 8th April 2011. Anna Hazareji has ended his fast. The Govt. has agreed to form a committee to draft a Jan Lokpal Bill. If one law can solve the problem of corruption, that is well and good.

The media is overenthusiastic in reporting the entire event live. Swami Ram Dev who first started the anti-corruption movement, is visiting each district through out the country, where lakhs of people assemble to listen to him. The same media has never reported his meetings or speeches. What is their enthusiasm in reporting Anna Hazariji’s fast? Is it a Congress managed show?

The Congress is not at all worried as long as there is no threat to it from another political party. Anna Hazare has not uttered a single word against Congress - the fountain head of corruption. He has also announced that he is not interested in politics. And this is exactly what Congress wants.

Contrary to this, Swami Ramdev has decided to form a political party and challenge the Congress. Looking at the public response to his campaign, the Congress became jittery. And in Anna Hazareji, it has found a good safety valve. By driving a wedge between Swami Ram Dev and Anna Hare, the Congress wants to take some winds out of the sails of Swami Ramdev.

Anna Hazareji has not mentioned a single word in support of the Bharat Swbhimaan Andolan of Swami Ram Dev. On the contrary, he has announced that he will form an organisation, taking advantage of the groundswell of support from youngsters. Now what this new organisation will do, as it is not going to enter politics? Will it be complimentary or competitive to BSA?

When Anna Hazare broke his fast, he took Nimbooz by 7Up, a Pepsi product described by Swami Ramdev as "toilet cleaner". This will definitely boost the sale of Pepsi, against which Swami Ramdev is carrying on a relentless campaign.

In fact, what Anna Hazareji is doing is exactly fitting in to the scheme of things of the Congress. It has divided the anti-corruption movement - one with Swami Ram and the other with Anna Hazareji, supported by Art of Living and some dubious NGOs having a soft corner for the Congress - two parallel organisations working against corruption, in the process dividing the people (voters) into two. And in the entire episode, the Congress party is the winner! To escape from the fury of revolutionaries, the British Government established the Congress party, as a safety valve. Today, the Congress is propping up Anna Hazareji, to escape from the fury of Swami Ram Dev. History is repeating itself.

Anna Hazare Vis-a-Vis Swami Ramdev

Like all Indians, I too support Shri Anna Hazare’s fast for eradicating corruption. But the few people around him create doubt about the true intention, which even Hazare ji may not know.

I am talking about (1) ‘Swami’ Agnivesh, a known supporter of Kashmiri separatists and Maoists, (2) Medha Patkar, notorious for blocking development projects like the Narmada Dam, and (2) Mallika Sarabai, a known Modi-baiter. Sandeep Pandey is another dubious character who is supporting HazareJi.

The media’s over-enthusiasm in giving live coverage to the event giving too much importance to Agnivesh is also suspicious. Swami Ram Dev held a historic rally at the Ram Leela Maidan in New Delhi on 27th February 2011, where more than a lakh attended. The entire media blocked out the event. Similarly, the two-day seminar held in New Delhi on 2-3 April 2011, which has formed an ‘Anti-Corruption Front’ with Swami Ram Dev as its patron, also did not find much coverage in the media.

Does this mean that an obliging media is trying to drive a wedge between Swami Ram Dev and Anna Hazareji? The Seminar was addressed by a group of people, known for fighting against corruption, like Dr. Subramaniam Swamy, S. Gurumurthy, Govindacharya, Ajit Doval, Bhure Lal, Justice J.S. Verma, Subhash Kashyap, former CJI M.N. Venkatachalliah, etc. etc. And Anna Hazare ji is being supported by an entirely different group of people with dubious characters.

Anna Hazare’s letter to the PM, where he has batted for the NAC, an extra-constitutional body with members like Harsh Mander, is also creating doubts. Is he in the grip of anti-national and anti-social NGOs?

Hazare Ji’s demand is only to enact one Lokpal Bill. Swami Ram Dev is campaigning for bringing in the entire black money stashed abroad by corrupt politicians. Why can’t Hazare Ji include this demand (nationalisation of assets kept abroad by Indians) also? Does this not serve Sonia’s purpose?

Hazareji and his group want to keep politicians away. Presuming that due to the groundswell of support to Hazareji’s fast, the govt. falls (as it happened in Egypt), what is the alternative? Does he have an alternative political set up to run the country? - as Swami Ram Dev is planning. Without that, will there not be anarchy?

It has become a fashion to say, ‘it is non-political’. This is idiocy. What is the alternative to politics? In our country, every thing, including the air you breathe, depends on politics. Without politics, there will be anarchy. What we need is good and honest politicians. Swami Ram Dev has understood this. Hence, he is forming a political party shortly, and trying to send honest people to parliament - the right decision.

Also we have seen this type of mass frenzy immediately after 26/11. But when election comes, the same people vote for the culprit. After blaming the congress government for the 26/11/2008, when election was held in April 2009, all the six parliamentary seats in Mumbai went for the congress. Similarly, In spite of being termed as the "Rape Capital" and of misgovernance, Delhi voters elect Sheela Dixit again and again. How can you trust these people, for a change? I doubt whether many of them even vote!

Sometime back, I wrote to Swami Ram Dev complaining against ‘Swami’ Agnivesh, Medha Patkar, and Mallika Sarabai, for including them in "India Against Corruption". I noted their absence in the 2-day seminar which formed the "Anti- Corruption Front" and was happy. I do not know whether IAC and ACF are complimentary to each other or competitive, although both the forums seem to be headed by Swami Ram Dev.

If at all there is a split between Hazareji and Swami Ram Dev (God forbid), which will definitely help the congress, I am with the latter. Swami Ram Dev has a clear vision and a plan. He is not running away from politics. And that is his strength. Anna Hazareji should strengthen Swami Ram Dev’s movement for Neyi Azadi and Nayi Vyavastha, and should not do anything to weaken it.

For corruption in the country, the entire blame should be on Congress. Swami Ram Dev is articulating this forcefully, but Anna Hazareji does not. He seems to support the unconstitutional NAC headed by Sonia Gandhi. In a democracy, the opposition (BJP) should do what Hazareji is doing, but is not doing it for obvious reasons. Swami Ram Dev is providing the rigtht alternative under a democratic set up, which we all should support. I am sure Anna Hazareji, a true Gandhian, would understand this better than anyone else. He should be cautious about the ‘opportunists’ around him or even get rid of them, and align with Swami Ram Dev’s Bharat Swabhimaan Andolan.

Today noon, Swami Ram Dav has visited Jantar Mantar and has pledged his support to Hazareji’s fast. Still the doubts remain and the questions remain unanswered.

I now await brickbats and bouquets.

LETTER FROM AN UNDERTRIAL

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a letter from Swami Amrutananda Dev Tirth, Shankaracharya, Sharda Sarvagya Peet, Kashmir (better known as Swami Dayanand Pandey), an accused in the Malegaon Blast case, languishing in Taloja Central Prison, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.

The letter is in Hindi, which translated roughly, reads:

"I, Swami Amrutananda Dev Tirth, Shankaracharya, Sharda Sarvagya Peet, Kashmir am languishing in jail for the last 28 months, as an accused in the Malegaon Blast case, along with 10 other accused. I am at present in the Taloja Central Prison, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.

During my stay in the prison, I happened to read your ‘Hindu Voice’ given to me by a wellwisher. All the articles in the Magazine are in the interests of the Nation and the original citizens Hindus and the Hindu society. My Sadhuvaadh to you. I pray God that your efforts give a proper direction to the society.

I would like to receive a copy of your current issue and also Hindu Voice issue of March 2009. I can pay in the form of postal order or money order. Also please send me your following publications. .....

Please send the above three books along with Hindu Voice March 2009 issue by VPP. Also let me know how to get your magazine regularly. I will honour the VPP. I am giving my address below.

The letter was dated 22nd Feb. 2011 and I received it on 24th Feb. sent by Speed Post. The Envelop did bear the stamp and signature of jail authorities. Swamiji had also enclosed a self-addressed envelop, with Rs.15/- stamp affixed, to be replied by me by speed post.

Next day, i.e. 25th Feb., I sent my Representative with many of my books along with a covering letter (reproduced below). My man reached Taloja Central Jail and handed over my letter and the books to the Jail authorities. But the Jail authorities accepted only those publications which Swamiji had asked for and returned all other publications to my man. They even refused to accept my covering letter and returned it.

Our man tried to meet the Swamiji personally, but was not successful.

I have now sent the covering letter to Swamiji, in the self-addressed envelop Swamiji sent me - by Speed Post. I hope it reaches him.

Republic Day - Is there any cause for celebration?

We have just celebrated the 62nd Republic Day. The Preamble of our constitution says: “We, the people of India .... do hereby adopt, enact and give to ourselves this Constitution.” Did the people of India adopt constitution? Was there any referendum? Without ratification by the people, how can it be called “adoption”? Then, is this not a fraudulent statement in the constitution?

In the preamble, the Constitution talks of Justice, Liberty, Equality. Is it Justice when Hindus are taxed and Muslims given subsidy? Is it Justice (or Equality) when the PM declares that minorities should have the first claim on our resources? Is it Liberty when you can’t hoist the national flag in Srinagar? Is it called Liberty or Justice when the train you take to go to Srinagar is returned midway during midnight? When the Leaders of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha are not allowed to go to Srinagar and are arrested by the State Govt., is it Liberty or Justice?

Where is equality? - when there are Articles 29 (Protection of interests of minorities), 30 (Rights of minorities to establish and administer educational institutions) and 370 (Temporary provisions with respect to the State of J&K).

While Article 29 & 30 are dividing the people into minorities and majority creating inequality, Article 370 separates Jammu & Kashmir from the mainland. Are these Articles not against the very essence of ‘Equality’ mentioned in the preamble of the constitution? As long as these Articles remain in the constitution, can there ever be Equality?

In order to show that J&K is no different from other states and to effectively integrate J&K in to the mainland, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha planned the Ekta Yatra from Kolkata to Srinagar, to culminate in the hoisting of our Tricolour at Lal Chowk in Srinagar on 26th Jan. But the J&K and UPA Govts. have used every force within their command to foil this attempt. By doing so, the State and Central Govts. have once again told the world that J&K is not an integral part of India.

One can understand the compulsions of the Omar Abdullah government. But what about the UPA Govt.? Sky would not have fallen if the BJYM activists were allowed to hoist the national flag at Lal Chowk. Or why can’t the UPA Govt. itself hoist the flag and take the winds out of the sails of BJP. Just for vote bank politics, can they stoop so low to even surrender before jihadis, separatists and secessionists?

Anti-nationals, jihadis, separatists, terrorists and their supporters in the garb of pseudo-intellectuals and liberals are leaving no stone unturned to dig the grave of the nation, proclaiming open sedition and going to the extent of fuelling anti-national campaigns openly across the country. Yet they are treated as guests of honour by the State and the Central Governments, while Tiranga carrying Nationalists are thrashed by the security forces.

The UPA Govt. owes an explanation to the people of this country. The Tricolour cannot be held hostage to the whims of a Chief Minister, who holds the position courtesy Congress. Neither can it be held hostage to terrorists, secessionists and jihadis. By standing with the secessionists (who shout anti-India slogans and burn Tricolour) and beating, arresting and jailing the nationalists (who shout Bharat Mata Ki Jay and Vande Mataram), the UPA Govt. has insulted the people and the brave soldiers who live and die for the nation.

This pampering of secessionists and separatists and arresting nationalists can happen only in India. The whole world is laughing at us for becoming a banana republic.

Under the UPA Govt. the decaying standards of every institution - President, Governors, Prime Minister, Ministers, Election Commissioner, Justices, Chief Vigilance Commissioner, etc. are apparent, not to mention about the misuse of CBI, NIA and SIT. The ex-CJI and the present Chairman of the NHRC is also under a cloud.

As though this is not enough, even some upright judges are being intimidated by our media and the so called secularists and human rights activists. The revision of the judgement in the Graham Staine’s murder case is a case in point. What made the judges to come out with a clarification a few days after the judgement was delivered in the open court? Can their clarification be legal? Have they not done an ‘Injustice’ to justice?

The judges seem to have buckled under pressure from the media, social activists (NGOs) and extra-constitutional entities. This is a dangerous portent. How can the judges expunge their own remarks, when no one has petitioned or prayed for that. By bringing out Press Statements signed by ‘eminences’ and arranging panel discussions in their obliging TV channels, this secular gang has ‘intellectually’ terrorised the judges, forcing them to expunge their own remarks.

These are the same people who, while asking for death to Dara Singh, clamour for the release of Binayak Sen, who has been sentenced to Life imprisonment by a Raipur court for helping Maoists and Naxalites who have brutally killed hundreds of our security personnel and ordinary citizens.

One fears that in a similar way, this anti-national gang of Pseudo-secularists, Maoists, Christian Missionaries and Jihadis may also try to intimidate and influence the judges when the Ramjanmabhoomi case comes up for hearing in the SC, which may force the judges to even revise the Allahabad High Court decision in their favour.

After 62 years of Republic, we find that every institution is defiled by the present UPA Govt. Plunder, not corruption, has become the rule. False cases are foisted against Nationalists. The UPA Govt. has subverted the constitution and has almost made it irrelevant. Just to make a few traitors happy, it has broken the hearts of crores of Nationalists. Then, is there any cause for celebration?

Hindu Media - A Mirage

On and off, I do receive letters from readers moaning about the absence of a Hindu media. Many times, intensive discussions are held on the net on the subject. Hence, I thought of putting my thoughts.

From my experience as the editor of Hindu Voice and National Spirit, I can definitely say that a Hindu Media is a mirage. A few individuals like me may undertake the work and run the show for sometime, but collective efforts will not succeed, due to the ego problem existing among Hindus. Who will own it and wield supreme is the daunting question.

Before we talk of developing a Hindu Media, we should analyse why the existing Hindu media is not growing or folded up.

1. Jain TV was owned by Dr. J.K. Jain, who was a BJP MP. Why it folded up? Was there any ego problem between Dr. Jain and BJP leaders? Did the BJP leaders think that a media baron may get name and fame and supersede them?

2. Zee TV is owned by Shri Subhash Chandra, a BJP man. Why does it not support Hindutva? Is there any ego problem between Subhash Chandra and BJP leaders? Or is it that Zee TV feels that Hindutva will not sell and they will not be able to survive in the market unless they are 'secular'?

3. Sudarshan TV is owned by Shri Suresh Chavhanke. His channel is being broadcast but could be seen only in some places in and around Delhi. I met Suresh ji sometime back at Hotel Taj President at Colaba, Mumbai. After checking in, he surfed for Sudarshan TV. When he could not find it, he called the manager and questioned him. The manager immediately called the concerned engineer and asked him to do the needful. Within half an hour, Sudershan TV could be watched in Taj President Hotel, Mumbai. When I met him in his room, I too watched it. But I am not able to watch it in my home. The Multi-System Operators refuse to catch its signal, unless paid in crores.

Recently, I watched his programme BINDAS BOL (say freely) on the net about Soharabuddin case. Sureshji was fully supporting the Hindutva cause. He was supporting Narendra Modi to the hilt. But how many Hindu industrialists or Hindu organisations are going to help him to effectively run the show? Will the Gujarat government or Narendra Modi help him? I am sure, NOBODY WILL.

4. The Pioneer, Delhi, a daily newspaper, is fully supporting Hindu cause. I do not know if any Hindu businessmen or Hindu organisations help it grow. I even doubt whether those Hindus who are active on the net are buying its hard copy, to boost up its sales.

5. There are many magazines being run by Hindus all over the country, in English, Hindi and local languages. Why are they not being subscribed for in lakhs, if not in millions?

6. I have been running Hindu Voice since April 2002, and have launched National Spirit since April 2010. How many Hindu industrialists or Hindu organisations are supporting me. NO BODY (except a few honourable exceptions - some in India and some NRIs).

What I want to say is that Hindus themselves, except a few out of the many who are moaning on the net, do not support Hindu media. Look at the following example.

A few months back RSS Chief Shri Mohan Bhagwat Ji visited Kollam, Kerala. About one lakh Swayamsevak in full uniform attended the function. Another about one lakh citizens also attended to listen to his inspiring speech. Even if 20% of these two lakh start buying Janmabhoomi , a Malayalam daily promoting Hindutva, its sales would boom. But how many Hindus in Kerala buy Janmabhoomi? Compare this with Saamna in Mumbai. Almost all Shiv Sainiks buy Saamna, which makes it not only survive but thrive. Same is the case with other ideologically committed newspapers - be it of Communists, Christians or Muslims. They all buy 'their' paper, but Hindus DON'T, because they are 'secular'. Hindus will buy anti-Hindu papers and watch anti-Hindu Channels, but not those espousing Hindutva. Hindus would prefer to put their moneys in a Hundi in a temple, to be usurped by the Govt, rather than giving it for a genuine Hindu cause or service. Then how do you expect Hindu media to survive, leave alone thriving?

I said collective efforts will not succeed. I have reason to say this. I was the Managing Editor of Hindu Muzhakkam (Garjana), a Tamil monthly launched by VHP, Mumbai. After running it for four years, I had to give up my responsibility, and it became defunct (not due to financial problem), although we got RNI No., Postal Permission, etc. A sense of oneness is lacking when a group is formed. When someone starts working with a sense of belonging, there are a few to demoralise and deride him. This is a general problem every where, I hope. A feeling that the Editor is growing more than the Organisation is lurking among the other members of the organisation, which is but natural.

Many Hindus who talk of Hindu Media are vague and confused - Who will own it? Who will practically work on the project? Who will finance it? What about the risk involved? etc. Many Hindus even think that they have the knowledge/concept and someone should implement it with other's money. Some even think that everything should be done under their command, except the financial aspect. Simply speaking, Hindus do not want to part with their money for Hindu cause. Nor do they want to read papers and magazines promoting Hindutva to come out of their cultivated ignorance. I have come across Hindus who have discontinued their subscription to Hindu Voice. The reason - when they read Hindu Voice, their peace of mind is disturbed. Yes, telling the truth and the danger that is going to engulf their children is disturbing their peace! Their attitude is like that of a pigeon, which thinks that if it closes its eyes, the cat will not pounce on it!

Sometimes I am pained to see an individual, who a few years ago was a Hindu and converted to Christianity and became a Pastor, has earned name and fame. Not only that, he brings out a magazine of say 48 pages, all in multi-colour, and prints at least a lakh copies and sends them to his followers. In Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh, there are dozens of such Pastors. Every one just forms a 'Sabha' and prints lakhs of copies of his Sabha Magazine. Compared to them, I am ashamed of my inability to even survive, leave alone thriving. Definitely, I am not responsible for this, but Hindus jointly are.

One reason for Hindus not forthcoming to support an individual may be that the individual may discard him once he gets name and fame. It has happened in some cases. But unless rich Hindus take the risk of trusting and supporting someone fighting for Hindu causes, how can we build a Hindu Media?

I conclude - Hindu Media is a mirage. It is just impossible. If my belief is turned out to be wrong, I would be happy.

But still there is some silver lining - to take Hindutva messages to millions of people through the electronic media. Apart from Sudarshan TV
I mentioned above, there are new TV channels who are willing to carry our message. A2Z is a news channel run by a Sadak of Sant Asaram Bapu. The RKB Show in Lemon TV (of Rajiv Bajaj) is giving space to Hindutva views. As it is, Aastha and Sanskar channels are carrying Swami Ram Dev's Bharat Swabhiman's message. Shankara TV of Kanchi Madam is also propagating Santan Hindu Dharm. With the help of these limited exposure, Hindutva message can be taken to millions. Hindus who are complaining of the absence of Hindu media, should propagate these Channels among their friends circle so that more and more people start watching these channels.

However, having an English TV channel similar to NDTV or CNN-IBN is a far cry. Church Money and Petro Dollars freely flow to them to carry on their anti-Hindu and anti-India agenda. Can a Hindu media expect such a free flow of money from any quarter? Just impossible.

PRESS STATEMENT

1. Does the GoI consider Indians as potential criminals?

Just before the Allahabad High Court was to give its verdict on 30th Sept. 2010 on the Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Structure issue, the Govt. of India came out with large advertisements in all leading newspapers asking people to maintain peace. The Prime Minister and the Home Minister came on TV, and advised people to maintain calm. The home ministry identified several sensitive areas where trouble could erupt. A huge troop mobilisation was made. Even Air Force helicopters were pressed into service and Rapid Action Forces were kept ready to be moved to troubled spots. There was a virtual fear psychosis created across the country. Many MNCs and offices closed their shops for the day, and declared holiday. The loss to the economy due to this self-imposed curfew is enormous. The roads, bus stops, railway stations and the markets wore a deserted look.

This is when both the litigants guaranteed calm, and if they have grievances they will appeal to the Supreme Court. Promises were made prominently by the RSS chief Shri Mohanji Bhagvat, and others on the Hindu side. So too the Sunni Waqf Board and Muslim leaders made assurance that they will maintain peace, and will resort to legal recourse.

The judgement has come. As promised, both Hindus and Muslims have maintained peace. There is no untoward incidents all over this vast nation.

Under these circumstances, Hindu Journalists & Intellectuals Form feels that the Government of India owes an explanation to the nation as to what made them to create this fear psychosis among the people. What was the need to take out such large advertisements appealing for peace? Whom were they afraid of creating trouble, when both the parties had assured peace? What was the necessity to mobilise even our Air Force? Does the Government of India consider its citizens as potential criminals and trouble makers? Was it done on the basis of any Intelligence Reports? All these questions need answers from the Govt.

The inference of the common man is that the Government of India has ended up with egg on its face. The people have shown enough maturity. But the Government has not.

2. SAHMAT trying to disturb communal harmony

While the parties to the dispute have maintained peace, a fringe organisation named SAHMAT has come out with a Statement on Ayodhya Verdict dated 1st October 2010 with a view to creating communal tension. The statement is signed by 61 'intellectuals' and 'eminent historians', many of whom are holding cozy govt. and semi-government positions and are enjoying government perks. They seem to be unhappy at the communal peace prevailing after the judgement.

The statement reads that "we cannot but see the judgement as yet another blow to the secular fabric of our country". Hindu Journalists & Intellectuals Forum demands from Sahmat, in what way the judgement tears the secular fabric of the country? Secularism will be alive and kicking as long as Hindus are strong and in the majority. That is why when the Constitution was framed, none of the Hindu leaders insisted on the word 'secularism' in its Preamble. Only Smt. Indira Gandhi included it during emergency to fool the people, as though secularism was not existing from 1947 till 1975. That it has today come to mean as 'minority appeasement' is a different matter.

By stating that "The most objectionable part of the judgement is the legitimation it provides to violence and muscle-power" and "it accepts the destruction of the mosque in 1992", SAHMAT is trying to mislead the general public. The case in question was a civil suit. The question of demolition of Babri structure on 6th Dec. 1992 is an alleged criminal act and was out of the purview of this court.

SAHMAT's statement questions the findings of the Archeological Survey of India and calls it controversial. In fact, most of the signatories to the statement have all along been fooling the public by twisting the history of India and Hindus. The Allahabad High Court judgement has proved that they are all liars. The judgement has exposed them and therefore they are running helter-skelter. The ASI excavated the site in the presence of two judicial officers and many witnesses, many of whom were Muslims. Look at what Justice Sudhir Agarwal has stated in his judgement, "In our view, the conclusion drawn by the ASI in the project accomplished within an extra-ordinary brief period and with such an excellence precision and perfection deserve commendation and appreciation instead of condemnation." But SAHMAT thinks otherwise!

When even Muslim do not dispute that Lord Ram existed or that he was born in Ayodhya, the signatories to the statement have always been raising the canard of 'absence of evidence'. Although eminent persons like Shri Arun Shourie, Dr. Koenraad Elst, Dr.David Frawley, Late Shri Sita Ram Goel , Late Shri Ram Swarup, Dr. N.S. Rajaram etc., have exposed these "Eminences" in their respective works, they (the 'Eminences') have always been able to 'get away' with their 'fabrications' of our history and our civilizational ethos. It has taken nearly 60 years for Hindus to legally prove their (Hindus') claims and expose these lies. And they are now furious that the Allahabad High Court has refused to put its stamp of approval on all their fabrications and lies.

By casting aspersions on the AHC judgement, SAHMAT and the 61 'intellectuals' and 'eminent historians' who have signed the Statement have done an act which amounts to contempt of court. Hindu Journalists & Intellectuals Forum appeals to the Supreme Court that it take suo moto action against all those signatories and the communal organisation, SAHMAT. These people must be proscribed and given exemplary punishment, for attempting to rekindle communal frenzy.

3. The supreme Court has already decided 'not to decide'

Both the litigants have declared that they will go to the Supreme Court. However, the Supreme Court has already decided 'not to decide' on this case. On 7th January 1993, the President of India referred the issue to the Supreme Court for a decision. The Presidential reference read: "Whether a Hindu Temple or any religious structure existed prior to the construction of the Ramjanmabhoomi–Babri Masjid (including the premises of the inner and outer courtyards of such structure) in the areas on which the structure stood?"

Chief Justice of India M.N. Venkatachaliah, Justice J.S. Verma and Justice G.N. Ray together signed a judgement dated 24th October 1994, which said, in para 100(11): "We very respectfully decline to answer it and return the same". Justice A.M. Ahmadi and Justice S.P. Bharucha gave their judgement on the same day. Para 165 of their judgement read: "The Presidential Reference is returned respectfully, unanswered". Haven't they already decided 'not to decide'?

Therefore, Hindu Journalists & Intellectuals Forum appeals to all concerned that the Allahabad High Court's verdict be treated as the end of the judicial process in this issue.

4. The government's word:

Those who opposed the presidential reference dated 7th January 1993 said the question was academic and vague and did not serve any constitutional purpose. The Supreme Court asked the solicitor-general to clarify. The solicitor-general responded with a written statement on behalf of the central government on September 14, 1994. He said the government would treat the finding of the court on the question of fact raised in the presidential reference as a verdict which is final and binding. Government's action in this regard will be even-handed in respect of both the communities. If the question referred is answered in the affirmative, namely, that a Hindu temple/structure did exist prior to the construction of the demolished structure, government action will be in support of the wishes of the Hindu community.

Now that the AHC has unanimoulsy upheld the FACT that a Hindu Temple pre-dated the Babri structure and since the Government of India had given a written undertaking to the Supreme Court on 14th Sept. 1994, the Hindu Journalists & Intellectuals Forum demands that the UPA Govt. now honour its word.

5. Shia-Sunni dispute

But what is surprising is that while the Shia Muslims are magnanimous in offering the entire site for constructing a Ram Temple, it is the Sunni Muslims who are on the war path. Babar was a Shia Muslim and the Babri structure was a Shia structure. Shias and Sunnis are having separate Mosques and Graveyards. One does not go to the other. Then how can Sunni Muslims fight for this Shia structure? In fact, Sunni Muslims are bombing Shia mosques and killing Shia Muslims in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq. But in India, they ostensibly come to the rescue of Shia Muslims when Shias themselves don't want them.

6. Make law for building the Temple.

Hindu Journalists & Intellectuals Forum is all for a negotiated settlement of the dispute. Since Shia Muslims are already ready, the Sunni Muslims should give up their claim on the 1/3 plot and pave the way for building a magnificent Ram Temple at Ayodhya. In the absence of any negotiated settlement, Hindu Journalists & Intellectuals Forum demands that the parliament pass a law giving the entire disputed land to Hindus for building the temple for Sri Ram.

Dear Sirs,

This has reference to your Statement on Ayodhya Verdict dated 1st October 2010, signed by 61 so called 'intellectuals' and 'eminences'.

At the outset, let me state that by issuing such a malicious statement, you are trying to instigate the law-abiding Muslims. Also you have made a case for contempt of court, by casting aspersions on the judgement of the Allahabad High Court.

They have, under your banner, shown their frustration. Is it not ridiculous on your part to say that you are right and the ASI is wrong? Look at what Justice Sudhir Agarwal has stated in his judgement, "In our view, the conclusion drawn by the ASI in the project accomplished within an extra-ordinary brief period and with such an excellence precision and perfection deserve commendation and appreciation instead of condemnation." But you think otherwise!

Further, J. Venkatesan, in his article in The Hindu dated 3rd October 2010 states that Hindus' belief about Lord Rama's birthplace is protected under Article 25. Here is what he writes: "When Hindus believe that the place of birth of Lord Rama was within the disputed site of the Ayodhya temple, such belief partakes the nature of essential part of religion and is protected under Article 25 of the Constitution (right to profess one's religion), the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court has held."

When even Muslim do not dispute that Lord Ram existed or that he was born in Ayodhya, you have always been raising the canard of 'absence of evidence'. You state "Whatever happens next in the case cannot, unfortunately, make good what the country has lost." You owe an explanation to the country as to what is lost by this judgement. If at all something is lost, it is the communal frenzy. Are you not happy about the loss of it? Further, if the 'next' is a negotiated settlement, what is your objection? Don't you agree to a negotiated settlement? Does your interest lie in keeping the issue alive for a few decades more?

Or is the 'next' the appeal to the Supreme Court? How can the Supreme Court entertain the case? It has already decided 'not to decide' in this case. Look at this.

On 7th January 1993, The President of India referred the issue to the Supreme Court for a decision. The Presidential reference read: "Whether a Hindu Temple or any religious structure existed prior to the construction of the Ramjanmabhoomi–Babri Masjid (including the premises of the inner and outer courtyards of such structure) in the areas on which the structure stood?"

In fact, today all the fake secularists and bleeding heart liberals, who have come under your banner, stand exposed. On the basis of facts, logic and reason, the AHC has taken a logical decision. It has put its stamp of approval on all their claims, except the 1/3rd of the land given to Muslims. This will enable Hindus to continue their campaign for getting back the 1/3rd land given to Muslims.

Since a majority of the Muslims seem to accept the AHC judgement, your motive in issuing such a statement is obviously to provoke them. Perverted secularists like you and the signatories do not want communal harmony, because that will lead to the closure of their shops. Therefore, by issuing such statements, you are trying to rekindle the communal frenzy. And I am sure, you will be defeated in these nefarious designs, as you have been in the AHC judgement.

This letter of mine will be published in Hindu Voice and National Spirit. If you reply to this letter, that too will be published, if I find it worth publishing. I would love to receive your rebuttal.

Statement on Ayodhya Verdict

The judgement delivered by the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid Dispute on 30 September 2010 has raised serious concerns because of the way history, reason and secular values have been treated in it. First of all, the view that the Babri Masjid was built at the site of a Hindu temple, which has been maintained by two of the three judges, takes no account of all the evidence contrary to this fact turned up by the Archaeological Survey of India’s own excavations: the presence of animal bones throughout as well as of the use of ‘surkhi’ and lime mortar (all characteristic of Muslim presence) rule out the possibility of a Hindu temple having been there beneath the mosque. The ASI’s controversial Report which claimed otherwise on the basis of ‘pillar bases’ was manifestly fraudulent in its assertions since no pillars were found, and the alleged existence of ‘pillar bases’ has been debated by archaeologists. It is now imperative that the site notebooks, artefacts and other material evidence relating to the ASI’s excavation be made available for scrutiny by scholars, historians and archaeologists.

No proof has been offered even of the fact that a Hindu belief in Lord Rama’s birth-site being the same as the site of the mosque had at all existed before very recent times, let alone since ‘time immemorial’. Not only is the judgement wrong in accepting the antiquity of this belief, but it is gravely disturbing that such acceptance should then be converted into an argument for deciding property entitlement. This seems to be against all principles of law and equity.
The most objectionable part of the judgement is the legitimation it provides to violence and muscle-power. While it recognizes the forcible break-in of 1949 which led to placing the idols under the mosque-dome, it now recognizes, without any rational basis, that the transfer put the idols in their rightful place. Even more astonishingly, it accepts the destruction of the mosque in 1992 (in defiance, let it be remembered, of the Supreme Court’s own orders) as an act whose consequences are to be accepted, by transferring the main parts of the mosque to those clamouring for a temple to be built.
For all these reasons we cannot but see the judgement as yet another blow to the secular fabric of our country and the repute of our judiciary. Whatever happens next in the case cannot, unfortunately, make good what the country has lost.

Hindu Dharma Acharya Sabha - Will it evolve into a Hindu Parliament?

For the first time in the history of India, most of the heads of religious institutions and Ashrams throughout the country had come together under one umbrella organisation called the Hindu Dharma Acharya Sabha in 2003.

The third Conference of HDAS was held recently in the ancient Sri Adi Chunchanagiri Matha (near Bangalore) during February 9-11, 2008. On behalf of Hindu Voice, our Representatives Shri GP Srinivasan and Col. S.S. Rajan had handed over a list of suggestions for the kind consideration of the Sabha.

The HDAS has rightfully expressed its serious concern about the authorities not sufficiently addressing Hindu causes and grievances, giving unjust treatment to Hindus, their callous disregard of Hindu sentiments, carrying on adverse propaganda against Hindu society and Dharma, etc. The Sabha is also concerned at the appropriation of Hindu philosophy and practices by others, detaching them from their Hindu identity.

The Sabha has repledged itself to speak in a single united voice and act in a concerted manner to implement specific action plans to strengthen Hindu Dharma and Society, and counter the problems and threats Hindus face.

The decision of the HDAS will wholeheartedly be welcomed by all Hindus, who expect much more from the Sabha. HDAS should evolve itself into a Hindu Parliament and become the sole representative body of Hindus the world over. This is very imperative, especially when the country is treated as the asset of Minorities, and Hindus are treated as unwanted guests in their own country. For this purpose, the Sabha should be more broad-based, so as to include all Hindu Sadhus and Sants.
Today HDAS consists of only those Mutts and Ashrams which are 200-300 years old, many of which have meagre followers. The Sabha should co-opt many more Sadhus and Sants of recent origin, as a sizeable section of Hindus look to them for guidance and take spiritual inspiration from them.

For example, Sri Satyasai Baba has an estimated 20 crores devotees all over the world. His Samithis are extending to all parts of the world in 137 countries. He has supplied drinking water to the water-starved Chennai, with a population of about 80 lakhs. He is serving the Hindu Society since 1940. Mata Amirthanadamayee, known as the Hugging Saint all over the world, has some 3.5 to 4 crore devotees, and has branches in some 30 countries. Amma is about 52 years old. Sri Sri Ravishankar, founder of Art of Living, has a following of 1.5 to 2 crores devotees all over the world, including in some Arab countries. He visits all troubles-some spots of world including Israel and Iraq. He celebrated his Silver Jubilee in Feb. 2006. Swami Ram Dev has indeed created a revolution by promoting Yoga, Ayurved, Meditation, etc. Although a recent entrant, he has taken the world by storm by his Yog Shibirs. His lectures on Yoga, a proud Hindu practice, are even sought after by Professional Bodies and Business Houses.

There are many other Sadhus and Sants and organisations like Asaram Bapu, Murari Babu, Isha Yoga, Chinmaya Mission, Bangaru Adigalar, ISKON, Gayatri Parivar, Paavan Parivar, Arya Samaj, Nirankari, etc. who have a sizable amount of followers. There are many more Sadhus and Sants whose name we might not have mentioned. Any Sadhu or Organisation which proclaims him/her/it to be Hindu should be included in the Sabha. Further, established Hindu organisations such as Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Sanatan Sanstha, etc. should also be included. In the absence of these organisations and Sants & Sadhus, who have a mass following and cadre, the constitution of the Hindu Dharma Acharya Sabha would be incomplete.

Once it encompasses all Hindu Sants and Sadhus of every hue and Hindu organisations, HDAS will become a force to reckon with, and politicians will then be forced to listen to the Sabha. The Sabha should then issue ‘dictats’ on matters concerning Hindus.

The ultimate aim of HDAS should be to amend the constitution of India through a referendum and to acquire power to elect/select the President of India (Refer to page 17). (A constitution which talks of Equality in its Preamble but provides special privileges to minorities in the subsequent Articles without defining who are minorities is a fraud on majority Hindus). Such anomalies have to be set right. HDAS need not shy away saying that they are not interested in politics. Referendum and Selection of Rashtrapathi are not politics; it is a Rashtra Dharm. Further, President is above politics and electing such an important Constitutional head should not be left in the hands of crooked politicians. Many criminals and anti-Nationals have entered Parliament and State Assemblies, and leaving this power in their hands is dangerous for the unity and integrity of the nation.
Bharat is a land of Sants and Rishis. Many Gods and Rishis have taken avatar in this land - Raam, Krishna, Mahavir, Bhuddha, Adhi Shankara, Guru Nanak, etc. That is why it is called Devbhoomi, Punyabhoomi, etc.

It would therefore be in the fitness of things if we consider this Devbhoomi as the asset of Sadhus and Sants, and its destiny is entrusted to them. The Sadhus, Sants, Mahants, Dharmacharyas, etc. of all hues, along with established Hindu organisations, should form a Dharma Sansad (Hindu Parliament), which will meet once in five years, and elect the President. HDAS should be the forerunner for such a movement.

The beleaguered and unorganised Hindu society now looks to the Hindu Dharma Acharya Sabha with great hopes. Will the Acharyas take the lead in making Bharat in to a de jure Hindu Nation?

Narendra Modi - the political heir of Sardar Patel

John Swinton, the foremost journalist of his day (1890), once said in New York: “There is no such thing, at this stage of the world’s history in America, as an independent press. ... I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinions out of the paper. ...We are intellectual prostitutes.”

What Swinton said about 100 years ago is a fitting tribute to our present day mediapersons of the likes of Tarun Tejpal of Tehelka.

Tarun Tejpal represents the “Blackmail journalists” of Indian Media. He is a gun totting vagrant let loose in the backyards of the unstructured Indian democracy where the media does not play a fair game. Instead of totting guns he is totting hidden cameras. It plays to the tunes of distant masters, and takes instructions from masters sitting in China, Russia, Vatican and USA.

There was never any ambiguity over the central aim of the sting “Operation Kalank”: To secure the downfall of Modi. The reporter Ashis Khetan quite openly admits that he was initially despatched to Gujarat to do “a sting operation on Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s involvement in a spate of fake encounter killings.” When that pre-judged investigation failed, Tehelka fell back on the riots of 2002.

Indian media is acting like the fifth column and it has let down the Indian people by its loyalties to alien masters, who want anarchy in the country and rule by proxy, by exercising control over various political parties like the Congress, CPI(M) and CPI.

Tehelka had not conducted any sting operation in respect of Sikh massacre, massacre and ethnic cleansing of Hindus in Kashmir, the numerous bomb blasts, the Bofors, Vockers, infiltration of Bangladeshi Muslims with the support of Communists in West Bengal, etc. Even a fool can smell a Congress rat in the whole operation.India has been the heaven for colonists, invaders and looters for more than 1000 years and India was bled dry. It is surprising that this Kamadenu is found still useful and wanted. Media persons like Tejpal and many TV Channels are helping these aliens. They are in fact bonded labourers of their foreign masters.

Since its inception, Tehelka has gone bankrupt thrice. It appealed for funds from the general public. It has now come out in a magazine form. Their October 2007 issue is of 100+ pages, but there are only two full page advertisements. Although the printing cost would be around Rs.30/- per copy, the price of the magazine is Rs.10/- only. One wonders how a magazine like Tehelka, with no advertisement revenue, has the wherewithal to do such a large sting operation. Definitely, the people working in the publication do not live on air and water. They were all well employed earlier, before joining Tehelka. So, one has to inquire how the publication is financed and where does the money come from.

What happened in Gujarat is a Hindu response to Islamic Jihad, as it did in Mumbai in 1993 consequent upon the burning of Hindus at Radhabhai Chawl. 58 innocent Hindus, including women and children, were burnt alive in the Sabarmati Express at Godhra Railway Station. This is the root cause for the riots. Had there been no burning of Karsevaks, there would not have been any riots. The secular Taliban is thunderously silent on this carnage. But by using terms like “genocide”, “holocaust” etc., they are trying to brainwash the people.

The Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Prakash Jaiswal told Parliament that 254 Hindus and 790 Muslims were killed in the post-Godhra riots in Gujarat (although the secular soundbytes claim that thousands of Muslims were butchered!). The secular brigade should therefore answer this simple question - if it is a “genocide”, how come 254 Hindus have also been killed? Does this not prove that there were riots and both Muslims and Hindus participated in it?

The contribution of the electronic media to the spreading of riots in Gujarat in 2002 is no less. I happened to watch a clipping in NDTV (when the news about the riots in Ahmedabad was being broadcast) which showed a person plying a cycle rickshaw being attacked by a Bajrang Dal worker. When there is no cycle rickshaw in Ahmedabad, how did NDTV get this footage? Is it not ‘manufactured’ to add fuel to the fire? And after five years, Tehelka is also doing what NDTV did in 2002.

Another ploy employed by the secular brigade is to fool the people by saying that the Military arrived in Ahmedabad on 28th and it was deployed by Modi only on the 1st, that is after 3 days. But what they hide is that it was February 28th and the next day was 1st March. That means, there was no delay in deploying the Military by the Modi government. Thus, the secular brigade is fooling the gullible people by spreading canards and half-truths.

By publishing its Operation Kalank, Tehelka has tried to demonise and dehumanise Narendra Modi. Probably this may prove to be a blessing in disguise for Modi, as indirectly Tehalka has helped in the consolidation of Hindu votes. While the UPA Govt. at the centre has divided the entire country in the name of minority-majority, Modi has always talked about the 5 crore Gujaratis, irrespective of castes, creeds or religions. He has taken Gujarat to new heights in development. He has provided an able, honest and incorrupt administration to the people of Gujarat. In fact, Gujarat has turned out to be a model state for the entire country.

Such a man of character, calibre and able administration is the need of the hour for our country. Narendra Modi has proved himself to be the political heir of Sardar Patel, who integrated the entire country. Had he (Sardar) been the Prime Minister of India instead of Nehru, the stature of India would have been different today. We missed the first Sardar. Let us not miss the second one. It is the duty of Gujarathis to make Modi invincible today, so that the entire country can rally behind him in the coming days, and make him the future hope for India.

Hindus' Spiritual Centre under attack

'15th August 1947 is a day of mourning and sorrow; He who worships God is an idiot; Tamilians are barbarians and Tamil is a barbarous language’ - Thus spake EV Ramaswamy Naicker, popularly known as EVR, the founder of Dravidar Kazhakam. He was a hatemonger and schemed one community against the other in Tamil Nadu. He was a staunch supporter of British rule and worked against India’s independence. He was an ‘atheist’ but never uttered a single word against Islam and Christianity. EVR married Maniammai, 18, when he was 71. Such a ‘man of character and integrity’ is the mentor of DMK , ADMK and MDMK, who have no compunction in trumpeting him as a great ‘Reformer’.

In earlier years, while visiting temples in TN, it used to be very easy to reach the sanctorum. But today, you go to any temples, you will have to stand in the queue for at least a few hours before you take Darshan of the deity. Had the ideology of atheism propagated by EVR succeeded in TN, temples there should have gone empty. But, every temple and every religious event in TN is brimming with devotees. Still, it is a paradox that such ardent Tamil Hindus have always voted either DMK or ADMK to power, similar to West Bengal Hindus who are voting for the anti-Hindu communists while simultaneously celebrating Durga Pooja with gaiety.

Emboldened by the gullibility of Tamil Hindus, the DMK government has permitted the installation of the statue of EVR in front of the Srirangam temple (in Trichy Dist.) - with the tallest Hindu Gopuram in Asia, with a height of 295 feet - inspite of vehement protests by many Hindu organisations and Dharmacharyas. The installation took place in the first week of Dec. 2006.

It is reported that a few infuriated Hindus had damaged the statue before it was unveiled. But serious doubts are expressed about the identity of the miscreants. In the first place it could have been damaged by the anti-Hindu forces themselves to create confusion in the minds of the people and use it as a pretext to indulge in violence by attacking and damaging temples, mutts etc., as they practically did.

It is said that non-Hindus were present while the statue of EVR was being erected. There is strong suspicion that as in other episodes like the Sabarimala conspiracy and Kanchi Sankaracharya issue, the Church organisations may be involved in all this. Some naxalites were also reported to be involved in the attack on temples. Hence all this points to a deeper conspiracy.

No one can object to the installation of a statue. What is objectionable is the location and the inscription that ‘One who believes in God is a fool; and one who invented God is a barbarian’ etc. erected in front of a temple popularly called ‘Bhuloka Vaikuntam’. Every year the Ganapathy Visarjan procession is barred from entering a particular street in Chennai because a mosque is situated there. The argument of the police and the administration is that it may create law and order problem. On the same lines, will not a plaque with inscriptions insulting Hindus erected near a very famous temple give rise to law and order problem? On auspicious days like ‘Vaikunta Ekadasi’, lakhs of people throng the temple. Is there not a possibility that on such an occasion taking advantage of the heavy rush, the anti-Hindu forces and anti-Nationals could themselves damage the statue? And using it as a pretext they may indulge in more attacks on temples, mutts etc.

The DMK government is hand in glove with the forces which are stirring a hornet’s nest. Merely for addressing a press conference, joining the peaceful protest and distributing hand bills criticising the injustice meted out to Hindus, some activists are arrested. Most farcically the name of Swamy Dayanandha Saraswathiji, the most respected Hindu Acharya and founder of the Hindu Dharma Acharya Sabha was initially included in the FIR.

Compare this with the lenient attitude of the government in taking action against rape cases involving Christian missionaries, provocative speeches and vulgar languages against Hindus by Dravidar Kazhakam activists, murder of Hindu leader in Thenkasi, etc. The question is, will the anti-Hindu forces and anti-Nationals in the guise of DK, naxalites and other outfits dare to erect such plaques in front of any Mosque or Church, say Nagore dargah or Velankanni church? So it is clear that these forces are not against the concept of God per se, but against Hinduism and Hindu culture.

May be these forces are receiving their pay packets from anti-Hindu forces in India and abroad to undermine the faith of the Hindus in their culture and beliefs so that they can be converted to alien religions like Christianity and Islam and ultimately make Bharat a puppet of the West or Saudi Arabia.First on the pretext of digging a trench for drainage line, the 500 years old ‘Mottai Gopuram’ of the temple was demolished. Now Hindus are insulted by installing the statue of atheist EVR in front of the Rajagopuram.

Considering the demoralising tactics by creating confusion about Kanchi Mutt, Thirumala-Thirupathi, Amarnath, Ayodhya, Sabaramalai, and now Srirangam, one can be sure that Hindu Spiritual centres are under attack by Christians, Muslims, Communists, Naxalites and Maoists, with the connivance of our power-hungry politicians. The sooner Hindus wake up, it is better for Hindu Dharma and Mother India.

A Movement to make India a

de jure Hindu Nation

Bharat is a land of Sants and Rishis. Many Gods and Rishis have taken avatar in this land - Raam, Krishna, Mahavir, Bhuddha, Adi Shankara, Guru Nanak, etc. Therefore, it is called Devbhoomi too. Bharat has all along been a de facto Hindu Nation, although it has been ruled by Muslims and Christians for nearly 1000 years. There is no country in the world which, after being enslaved for nearly 1000 years, takes rebirth as one country. Bharat did so, in spite of so much diversity in the name of caste, language, region, etc. This oneness was due to the cultural unity of Bharat, which in other word is called Hindutva. Moreover, Dharm and Nationalism have always been interlinked in Bharat. For example, in a Pooja, the ‘sankalpa’ begins with “Bharata varshe, Bharata kande, Jambu Dwapee ...”, a clear reference to Motherland. India can remain united only on the basis of Hindutva, i.e. Hindu Principles, which encompasses everything humanity stands for. Even today Bharat is a Hindu Nation; otherwise democracy and secularism could not have survived.

Today one fears that history is being repeated and Bharat may once again slip into the hands of forces inimical to democracy and secularism, who may rule Bharat as dictators enforcing their religious dogmas on Hindus. It is therefore the duty of every citizen believing in peace, tolerance and pluralism, to ensure that Bharat remains a Hindu Nation, both de facto and de jure. Then and then only democracy, secularism, freedom and fundamental rights can be ensured in the country. This can be done simply by changing the method of electing the Rashtrapathi and Upa-Rashtrapathi.

The country should be treated as the assets of Sadhus and Sants, and the destiny of the country should be entrusted to them. The Sadhus, Sants, Mahants, Sanyasis, Dharmacharyas, etc. of all hues of Bharat should form a Dharma Sansad (Hindu Parliament), which will meet once in five years, and elect:

(a) One Rashtrapathi, and (b) Four Upa-Rashtrapathis

who will be installed at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan with a Pooja and Raja Abishek.The four Upa-Rashtrapathis will be positioned at the four regions of the country.The Rashtrapathi, in consultation with the Upa-Rashtrapathis, will appoint Governors for all states. The Rashtrapathi, Upa-Rashtrapathis and the Governors of all states will form a Constituent Assembly and adopt our present Constitution, with appropriate changes if necessary. There need not be any major changes in the present set-up and the three wings - Legislature, Executive and Judiciary - could be maintained. The federal structure, as is existing today, could also be retained.

Since the Rashtrapathi and the Upa-Rashtrapathis will be selected by the Dharma Sansad, they (as also the Governors to be appointed by them) will definitely be men of character and integrity. That itself will solve most of the problems - social, economic and political.For implementing this proposal, a Movement should be started - to convince our Sadhus, Sants, Dharmacharyas, Politicians, etc. As there will be no changes in the existing electoral politics, there is no reason why a politician should oppose this arrangement, unless he is interested in gutter politics.

Given below is the Mandate, enshrining the basic features, which the people of this country should adopt and give to the Dharma Sansad.I appeal to all Hindus, Hindu Organisations, Politicians and general public to come forward and support this movement, culminating into a Referendum. I also humbly request our Sadhus, Sants and Dharmacharyas to espouse this National cause and motivate their followers to bring moral pressure on all concerned, so that our beloved Motherland does not fall into alien hands endangering its unity, democracy and secularism, and Bharat becomes a heaven on earth, as it once was.

The Mandate

We, the Hindus of Bharat, also called Hindusthan, having solemnly resolved to constitute Bharat into a Hindu Dharmic Republic, and to secure to all its citizens, irrespective of caste, creed, colour, language, region and religion:

JUSTICE, social, economic and political;

LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship;

EQUALITY of status and of opportunity; and to promote among them all

FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of the individual and ensuring the unity and integrity of the Nation;

GIVE this Mandate to the Sadhus, Sants, Mahants and Dharmacharyas, collectively called the Dharma Sansad, to run the affairs of Bharat through their representatives - namely One Rashtrapathi and Four Upa-Rashtrapathis - selected at the meeting of the Dharma Sansad.
